Are albino burmese pythons smaller than normal burmese?

Question:i am planning on breeding some snakes and love the colour of albino burmese pythons. i know normal burmese can get huge...to big for me but do albinos get this big, also can you get any other types of albino pythons and how big do they get? thanks

Answers:
They will be large as well. There are dwarf burmese pythons, but no one has produced an albino yet.

If you want to breed a snake that has the same colors as the albino burm, then look at high contrast albino ball pythons. They are much more expensive, but are also more popular. You shoudl also consider albino boas. They do get a little large, average 6-8 ft, but are much easier to handle than burms. You will also pay a high price for them as well.

When albino burms were first produced, they carried a high price tag. As everyone started buying and breeding them, the price dropped drastically. The same thing will happen to all albinos as more and more people start producing them.

don't kno
No they are the same size as the brown ones. The only difference is the pigment in their skin. They are not ideal pets because of the size and have you thought about when you will have to have a whole room coverted into a walk in viv, and about who else will be present when you feed it or want to go in its enclosure because one person is not enough to restrain one of these lovely snakes.

Why not go for something smalk like a ball python or jungle python - not sure if you can get albino ones but seriously think about it - they are now registered on the dangerous wild animals list and you could get prosictued for selling them
Same size - different coloration. If you're worried about size, don't deal with Boa's or Python's. Corn snakes, King snakes and Milk snakes are absolutely beautiful and sound like they would be more your size. Good Luck
Albinos will grow the same as normals. Check out the albino ball pythons online. The piebald ones are sweet too. Get ready to shell out some bucks though because they are pricey. You will not be able to make a profit selling Burmese pythons, because wholesalers won't give you more than $10 or so for them and you won't be able to find enough pet stores to sell all of them. My point is that if you are going to go through all the trouble of raising snakes, raise ones that are going to be worth something. Plus, ball pythons rarely grow over 6 feet. I have one that I got back in '96 and it is still only 4 feet.
Yes they are smaller.
no, they are the same size, its only the pigment of the skin thats different.
try an Albino Royal Python, you can pick one up for around £1000.
