Answers:
Well, leopard geckos and green anoles are a great place to start. Snakes dont require that much other than a mouse or two a week.
don't get an iguana then. Aha, hubby said, c'mon, let the kids get him, he doesn't GET THAT big, I didn't know then. Well, little Gizmo is now longer than my leg, and he thinks he's a puppy around here. My mailman rung my doorbell yesterday to hand me a package, here chugging right along to the door with me is Gizmo, my mailman about s hit hisself. Funny but true!
If you like small, easily kept lizard, try a water dragon. They aren't touchy-touchy animals though, they don't like handling much.
You can house a leopard gecko in a 20 gallon. I have two of them in a 20 gal. long tank and they have plenty of room. I like Leo's because they seem to enjoy interaction and are pretty easy to care for.
