Question:I have a baby girl that is 28inches long right now, she is great she eats every days one adult live mouse right now.. i know about increase the size of the food compared to the size of her. . I was just wondering if anyone could tell me personally how big your burmese python has got and at how old if you ahve one thanks.. by the way I named her Xena.. she reminded me of a warrior princess...lol

Juvies should be fed 1 prey item a little wider than the widest part of their body, every 5-7 days. Since it is a female, expect her to get quite large. Female burms, when fed properly, average 8-10 ft within 2 years. After that, the growth tends to slow a bit. If you are wanting her to grow at a quicker pace, feed her rats instead of mice. Rats provide more nutrition.
well a sanke depending its metabolism, will grow, i own a ball python, she is young, but grows quickly. i have no experience with burmese pythons, but as i said, i own a ball python. some ball pythons might grow to their maximum, while others might not, remember every snake is different.

I own a 12 foot Burmese Python that is about 4 years old . You should not over feed it will reduce the snakes life span and she will eventually stop eating .But you are under feeding her in my oppion . I would feed her every 5-7 days prey that is the size of her largest girth . Probably 3 -4 adult mice .
