Any vaccination for red-ear terrapin turtle?

Question:

Answers:
You cannot vaccinate your turtle but you should wash your hands after handling one as they may have salmonella.

Your setup should be a large tank/rubbermaid container (eventually 90 gallons/ten gallons per inch of shell), a great filter, a submersible heater, a dock, a uva/heat bulb and a uvb bulb positioned 12 inches from the basking area.

If your turtle has a Respiratory Infection you will get Baytril from the Herp Vet. but if there is nothing wrong there is no need to treat the turtle with medicine as there is no prevention except a clean tank with proper temperatures (78 F water, 90 F basking)..Don't use vitashell either..

Btw; a terrapin is British for turtle. I assume it is a Red Ear Slider.
