Anyone looking to unload a hermit crab in the ATL?

Question:I live in Atlanta and would like to know if anyone has a hermit crab they no longer want. Mine's lonely, but I don't want to support the industry (bc I've had an attack of conscience--did you know they are swiped from the wild and cannot breed in captivity?) and buy another one. Anyone have one they're sick of or that their kids are bored with or something?

Answers:
Avoiding commercial shops is an excellent idea and adopting can make a difference in a hermie's life.

Go to http://www.hermitcrabassociation.com/php...

Sign up, list yourself in the adoption section, and above all learn new ways to keep them healthy and happy.

I also listed an ad in the local paper and had 6 adoptions as a result.

Good Luck!
