Question:hi wanting some experienced advice about house geckos.I have kept reptiles so not a complete novice but cant find much advice for keeping them in uk, do they need uv? do they need a calcium supplement like nutrobol? Any information would be great. cheers in advance

You will want to set up a 10-15 gallon cage with some hiding places and an easily cleanable subtrate that will not cause impaction. You will want a night heat lamp and you want moderate humidity inside the cage. Give them a small water bowl and several small mealworms a day adding reptisafe to their water will add some calcium and if you can give them vitamin supplements then UV is not required. Do not handle your gecko very often because that can cause a lot of stress.
