Are baby frogs that you find from ponds usually safe to keep? or is it better not to?

Question:

Answers:
They are quite safe to keep, although I would recommend you take them to a qualified vet and get the frogs a checkup. You don't want disease-harboring frogs in your home. Also, if you intend to keep the frogs, educate yourself about their habitat and feeding requirements. Purchase a tank immediately and put a low, roomy bowl of water in the tank. Put some plants in the tank (they are oxygenates) and make sure the tank has an air filtration system and that the tank constantly is rather moist. Frogs live on land and water, so you need to keep the tank moist, and keep the tank and the pond temperature-controlled.
As for food, I would recommend talking to your vet or talking to a good pet shop to find out the feeding requirements of the frogs. I would think that the food is in some way related to insects.

Good luck!

It is usually better to keep them in there natural habbitat but I have succesfuly kept frogs from the wild.
its better to leave them alone in their natural environment
I know the turtles usually carry bacteria, and are not safe. So I would assume the frogs would. But not sure. Hope it helped!!
Sure, go ahead and stick em' in your mouth while you're at it.

They can taste mighty fine
They could be poisinous
so be carefull
you should keep them on the pond
its beter not to for the frogs sake :P
but if u want to keep it make sure u have food 4 it if not keepit by its self (not with other frogs or they'll eat each other realy) and let it go whan ur bored of it
Well, I wouldn't. They are already used to living in that pond. Now, if they were tadepoles, I would say it's ok. I have raised a tadepole from our pond before (infact, we have LOTS of tadepoles now in our pond!). He turned into a frog! He lived for a year and then sadely passed on. If you have anymore questions about frogs (or tadepoles), feel free to ask me! I know everything about them!
trust me. whatever you do, DO NOT touch them.EVER
I would leave them be and head to the pet store if you must own frogs!!

But if you want to gather up some wild frogs and keep them till they die I'm ok with that.LOL explanation below lol
well I'd say so my brother just went fishing and caught a turtle and it stuck it in his little tiny swimming pool with the hook still in it's mouth and he's 21. don't ask!
Well u should let frogs or baby frogs be they might have a mother or something and if u take them away frome there naturl habbatat they might die beacase there mothe cant give tem food so its better not to keep them and yes they are ussally frome ponds
Let the frog go. It will be miserable in captivity. Get a frog from a pet store that has been born in captivity.
Well my lake is full with baby frogs hopping around and i had like i dont know 20. the only problem is that it is really hard to find food to feed them. i would not suggest to keep them very long! i kept mine for like 4 days and i let them go. in my yard. And once in a while i see one hopping around!
