How often should i feed my cornsnake?

Question:Ive heard of people going 4-10 days inbetween feeding so what is the best time period to wait and how often do you feed yur snake if you have one.

Answers:
My rule of thumb is this. If it's a baby still eating pinkies, they are fed every 4-5 days. Once off pinkies, they are fed every 7 days. Adults are fed every 10-14 days. Gravid females or those recovering from laying are on 7 day feedings until they refuse food before lay or regain the lost weight from laying, then they go back to every 10-14. My animals are fed a food item 1-1 1/2 times the widest portion of their bodies. In some species, overfeeding or feeding too large an item will cause regurgitation.

Twice a week.
i currently house over 50 various reptiles and we have a very strict feeding scheduleall my animals eat one meal twice the width around them once on monday agian on thursday every week etc hope this helps
I have a young corn snake. I feed him once a week. Every Tuesday, and I have not had a problem with this feeding schedule. He is still friendly active and normal. Growing properly and everything. He is actually shedding right now.
