Question:how exactly do i make a plant terrarium? im going to add frogs to it and maybe some other little critters of the sort. i was told i need to put a layer of gravel, soil, then some moss. but i wanted to make a waterfall, i have a filter that would make an excelent waterfall. how should i make it? any ideas? and also i have an asparagus fern and some sort on palm. not sure. pictures of a terrarium waterfall would be helpful. thanks!! oh and one more thing, what soil do you prefer i get? or does it not matter?

If you want a waterfall, you might try putting in a false bottom. It's a really common way of doing things in the Dart Frog community.

Cocofiber is the best substrate. You can get it at most pet stores in brick form. Drop the brick in a bucket of hot water and it will expand.
I have a ridiculously long list of links that would help you. You're welcome to email me if you want more, or go to one of the links below and ask questions on those forums. Everyone on the DendroBoard forum can give you great advice, but it's specifically a poison dart frog site. ReptileRooms is more broad, but has less people that know specifically about frogs. If you post there, I'm probably the guy you'll hear from the most. lol
