Query roughly a remortgage - a bit stuck?

We are currently changing mortgage providers as our 2 year fixed rate has come to an completion. The house has been surveyed by the alien loan provider which was fine. Now a query have come through with regard to the title deeds... something to do near the ex owners had seperated and the lady re-married, when she signed some paperwork when we where on earth buying she signed in her new nickname,not her old married name. Apparently immediately they need a copy of her old conjugal certificate to clarify who she is?? but she has moved in a foreign country. We have been told that this is a enquiry that should have been resolved by our solicitor when we where on earth buying the house. Now they can't find her... we have however had a dispatch this past week from our new mortage provider truism our mortgage has been approved and that we will shortly carry some paperwork from their solicitor?
Does this mean that they have approved our mortgage anyway? what would the timescale presently be?

The solicitor who first sorted out the initial purchase should have picked this up.

She would have signed within her married name if that is what she be known as when she signed the forms I did when I married and sold my home.

They asked for a copy of my marriage ticket, and I had to prove I had married which is why I be using a new name.
Yes - your Solicitor should own sorted this out if it were a problem, when you initially purchased the property. As this was the bag when you took out your initial mortgage, It shouldn't now be a problem. The latest title deeds should enjoy your name on them anyway, so they will supercede this old information.
