Question:Why does everyone hate spiders? I don't keep spiders, but I do have one by my computer here which is killing all the flies that come into the room.

Spiders are cool, I let them about in the house, they are great for control of ants and flies. However, yesterday at work someone threw one on me and I freaked out.
they are black ,and nasty they have 8 legs ,and they can run faster than a grown man

Spiders are great. I like the tiny little stripy jumping spiders.
I like spiders as long a they're small I don't like the great big ones. I used to know this idiot who killed spiders but fed rats at the end of her Garden! Strange. I have got a web in the corner of my room with loads of baby spiders in it. I knew someone who had a house spider that she took on for a pet she was a bit nutty but in a nice way when she moved she forgot to take the spider and knocked on the door and asked if she could have it, I don't think she got it though I think they decided that she was a bit of a nutter, and didn't let her in.,

Depends on what kind, I like the good spiders the ones that don't bite. Now you get to poisonous ones and you got a road runner speeding the road to get away from them. Yuck!
But good spider that are of no harm are good for the enviroment. They spin webs and little humming birds take the web and make nests for them and they help the population of our hummers survive and then the spider will spin another web to catch their prey and munch out and survive and it is a circle of love. If one can scratch the others back in a good way only one can try. If it don't cost anything why not do what they can to help. That is how I see spiders and I always watched spiderman when I was young. He is a cool dude.

I love spiders. I used to have a tarantula, but now I appreciate them in their natural habitats more.
Their diversity is astounding.

I don't particularly like spiders, I would never have one as a pet, but I don't hate them either. They are just a fact of life, another creature trying to do the same things I am.
I sometimes feel silly, but before I squish a spider(or any other small creepy crawley) I always take a second to say I'm sorry, and sometimes to admire it.
I saw one, I believe it was a recluse, that was a golden color in the light and was hanging from my ceiling over my bed. I wasn't about to leave it, but I did stand and just stare for a few minutes and admire how beautiful it was. It's hard to be afraid of or hate something so small, so beautiful, so delicate, and so quiet.
i love big spiders like the ones you could keep as a pet i think they are so cool but my mom is scared of them so she wont let me have one i keep telling her that i would get on that they took the fangs out of but she still wont let me get one. i know this is strang but its the little spiders that scare me cuz the right bite for the right little spider can kill. I dont kill them tho i just try not to let them get on me is all and if i need to get one of of the house i have a jar and a pice of paper waiting on him lol. not to long ago i had a mother spider living in my windo (on the out side) and she put her nest were i could see in to it when i was in the house i loved to just sit and watch as she would make more web or eat something that go in to her web but then she had her little babies and the ate her and left fot better places it was so sad to watch i mena i even names her lucy and made a thing on my myspace to remind me of her.
I like little spiders and tarantulas but not the normal house spiders. I don't know why =D

They say if you have spiders living in your house you have a clean house.
I like all the different types, my favourite is the ones with the long skinny legs and a red bump as a body. I always leave toilet paper draped into the bottom of the bath so that the spider can climb out after having a drink from the plug hole.
