1 of my hermit crabs leg is really red?

Question:is this molting or just the way they are

Answers:
The leg that helps to cover your crab as it retreats into it's shell is called the "armor leg". It can be redder or oranger and is often a little thicker and shinier than the other legs. A large armor leg is the sign of a healthy crab!
