If your thinking about getting a chihuhua you probley shouldnt they are not very well natured dogs i have two a girl and a boy when the boy was young he was very sweet and the girl one always peed, pooped and threw up on the floor she also bit people she didnt know and she even bit us sometimes. When they grew up the boy started peeing and pooping on the floor he also started growling and biting the girl stopped biting but she coutinued to use the bathroom on the floor and also puke on the floor. They get fleas easily and when they itch they shed alot. They also stink. We give them a bath one night and they stink again in the morning but sometimes we put shampoo and conditioner on them and they smell better then we put baby oil on them when they get out that also makes them smell better.I dont know for sure if all chihuhuas are like that but i know mine are. They are very friendly and active and love to walk! I have to Chi's and they are excellant.The place you get it from will tell you if it's good with other pets,kids,etc.B ut they do cost alot of money so probaly get it from your ASPCA.

Chihuahuas and Shih-tzus are in the small breed category. I had a chihuahua and she barked alot. She was always like nervous and peed of this. Now she protected us when there was strangers and when strangers were around or those who are not nice she barked alot. The shih-tzu is small, but much more calmer than the chihuahua. They are easy to take care of and are the best. So take the Shih-tzu. I hope soon to buy myself one. They are so loving and adorable.
they should get along fine as long as you don't spoil them to much. people tend to let smaller dogs have their way which totally ruins the dog, that's why alot of people decide to get rid of a dog, the human looses control so the dog takes it and runs with it. problems arise....
Well it depends because I had a chihuhua for 3 yrs then i got a small rat terrior n wow my chihuhua was aggresive because it was use to being alone So I had to get rid of the rat terrior cuz of Dollys aggression
You should! I loveloveloveLOVE my chi! She's the sweetest dog I've ever had =] and they should get along great.. I have a chiweenie and a german shepherd also, they all get along fine. :)
they are cute loving and caring as long as you dont mind alot of barking because ny friend as 2 and they bark alot but she dosent love them so if you give them love and care it will be a great time
