Question:1. Anyone who has a lionhead bunny, does this lionhead look normal to you?

My dad says his fur looks weird because it's short on top and very fluffy & the bottom. Is this normal or not? I'm thinking about adopting him, but I don't want to adopt a sickly bunny or something like that.
2. How do you calm a dog down in a thunderstorm? (he's not a lapdog so I can't pick him up/hold him/ etc.) He won't stop barking and whining. I'm mainly annoyed, but I do feel bad for him.
3. Is there something you can put on a dog's coat while it's still wet to avoid "wet dog smell" when it dries?
Answers:
That rabbit doesn't look like a Lionhead at all. We have a rabbit and my B/F has had rabbits for 50 years. Dogs in thunderstorms are a different matter all together. It's the noise. It hurts their ears, and they go "crazy" sometimes. Usually dogs that have "open ears" like a German Shepherd. You can put them in a room with music on, that has been known to work. TV works, too.
Wet dog smell? Hmmm...when you find out let me know.
The rabbit is normal. Most rabbits have more fur on their bellies than on their heads, and the fur on their heads tends to lie flatter.
It's normal. Lionhead with the double mane gene often have "butt wool" as I like to call it. It does however have a very interesting color, I'm inclined to say it is a chestnut of types that's molting, and needs to be brushed out..
To calm a dog in a storm, I always found it best to just place them in a crate with a blanket over it.
I'm sure there's products out there for the wet dog smell, just check your local pet store.
The rabbit does look like a lionhead. It might be a mix though. I have some mixxes and a few ended up without a mane on the top of their heads.
