Question:please i need help i dont know how to feed them, their mom died and im being nice to them and taking care of them, they are really small, they are just about to all open there eyes, 2 of them already opened their eyes, what do i feed them, what kind of cage do i keep them in...... i really need to know all that i can do for them, and yes i can take care of them so please dont tell me to kill them or give them to the animal control

My moms friend had baby possum,s for a while.
I dont really know anything about it,
i just know they fed them kitten milk...you can get it at a big pet store like petsmart or petco.
and they didn't hold them or pet them or anything like that, or else when they were older they would know humans for food, and go upto them, and the humans might shoot them.
and then the possums got maggots & died.

You can try some type of baby animal formula or find a place that takes care of small animals that have been orphaned...
I know for sure they eat dry cat food, well the one i caught eating the cat i feed outside. Look it up in the internet.
Possums can be very difficult to foster, and they can be mean. 6 of them are going to be quite a handful!

They have the training and the resources to care for sick, injured and orphaned wild animals. They also have the proper permits. In the US, Canada and many other countries, it is illegal to keep, even for a short time and for the best of intentions and purposes, any native wild species unless you have the proper licenses to do so.
