Question:I know a female dog in heat is called a *****, but is there a similar term for a female cat in heat? Or are they bitches too?

Actually, "b*tch" refers to any female of the canine species, not necessarily one that's in heat. A female dog does not even have to be fertile to be referred to as being a b*tch dog.

Female cats are called queens (as opposed to the males, which are called toms), but no one actually calls them that. ^^;
