2 female rabbits both 12 mths and neutered can they live together ? Not known to each other at mo.?

Question:

Answers:
Yes, they can live together as long as they are females.
Male rabbits tend to fight till one of them is defeaded as they will want to take the position of the area. i also have rabbits.
The female one is called Mochi. The male one is called Lychee. lychee is a little cheeky on Mochi as she is only a baby. Lychee is 5 months old. they get along will, however, Lychee like to mate with Mochi but she does not like to. I am ready to have baby rabbits.
Anyway, back to your question, if both your rabbits have their ear straight up when they see each other, that means that they want to be friends with each other. If both ears are not straight up when they see each other, it means that they are ready for a battle. And that means trouble.
Don't feed their cold carrot or cabbage everyday. feed them a carrot very week as they will have lots of stools if you feed it to them everyday. try not to let their food be cold. Or esle they will have a tummy ache. If you need to give them a bath, it is advisible to give them a warm bath. After the bath, use a hairdaryer to dry them or they will catch a cold. Hope you will have a enjoyable time with your rabbits. Thank you!

i used to have a rabbit and wasinterested in the time of getting her a companion. i read that they are social creatures, meaning they like company. look on the internet or in a book, but i would introduce them slowly so they dont fight.
I'd advise not housing females together until theyre fully bonded. I mean rabbits are viscious and they say the best pairigs are male/female. go to www.fuzzyrabbit.com, its a really good community and has good resources and a full bonding and advice guide. In theory yes...in practise though it depends on if they bond well on introduction.

Choose a secure, quiet area, that neither rabbit has been in before -neutral territory- (kitchen floors or garages are ideal for this). But in tubes and cardboard boxes, and make sure there is water available to them. Put both bunnies in at the same time. Be prepared for a little bit of scrabbling. If things get to aggressive (i.e one is clearly picking on the other, or if injury is sustained) you will need to separate them. Do NOT use your hands to separate them, you will probably end up being accidental bitten/scratched (something I learnt the hard way). Make a loud noise or if need be gently break them up with a board/broom. Them put them into separate hutches for at least a fortnight before attempting again. Good luck, most bunnies, esp when young and neutered bond pretty easily.
i work with rabbits every day of the week, and yes you can hve them together after nueturing but they must be introduced slowly, for example by having them close but wiht a cage etc inbetween so that they can see each other and get used to the smell, and then gradually putting them together in the day and then sepertaing at night etc. it might seem i lot of work, but for two, friendly bunnies that get along its worth it :) please contact me if you need any more help on rabbits on tiptonlauren@yahoo.co.uk :D hope this helps
yes they can live together slowly introduce them to each other they might fight a little at first but rabbits are social animals they love company
I see no reason why not. Males usually fight not females.
