you need to "bomb" first and then again in 3-4 weeks - do everything - even those "forgotten" areas like closets with carpets in them - the first bomb or spray does not take care of the eggs - or the beg. larvae stages -which is why a repeat application is necessary :)
For best luck do it a 3rd time.
Sprinkle Mule team Borax laundry detergent or boric acid onto your carpets and sweep in with a broom. Let set for two days and then vacumm up and continue vacuuming 3 or 4 times a week.
The fleas your pets left will multiply quickly if your pets are not longer with you. Be sure and vacuum. A heavy flea infestation can sometimes last 3 or 4 weeks even if an insecticide has been used. Vacuuming will speed up the process.
