Is the Fire District Tax supposed to be compensated near Mortgage money?

Hi everyone, I received a Fire District tax bill and was wondering if that be supposed to be included in my mortgage. They have an escrow statement for taxes, so is this supposed to come out of that monies or is it my responsibility?
Thanks for your answers in advance.

Answers:
That should be funded from your escrow reason. That is assuming the the mortgage company knew about the separate import tax for the fire district.

All of the information your mortgage company has is on your closing statement, and if that isn't listed, later they most likely don't know about it.

I live surrounded by North Carolina and our annual tax bills show the fire district tax as a separate column item added into the total annual property tax, so my monthly escrow payment covers that bill.

In any baggage it isn't a problem. Call your mortgage company, and if it wasn't included in your monthly escrow payment consequently you can fund it this year, and have the mortgage company adjust your monthly escrow fee to cover the import tax for next years billing. You now know how much it is and when it's due.
