Is it possible to still catch a mortgage even though i am on a debt administration plan?
I have been on this plan for around two years and have about 5 years to shift, and i would really like to buy my own home instead of renting like i am doing. I own not defaulted on these payments so far and don't know if that makes a difference. Does anyone construe it would be possible for me to be accepted for a mortgage with my partner?

You will a need a deposit and any debt you own is taken into account. i regard as you may be able to get a mortgage, but the vocabulary will be alot different than if you had good credit
if you are surrounded by a council property speak to them about it, or ask a reputable mortgage company, but be sure of the terms and conditions back you go ahead

Hi, I work contained by a conveyancing office at a solicitors office and most widely held lenders have what's called sub-prime mortgages for family who have adverse credit. Examples would be Platform Home Loans, GMAC RFC, even Northern Rock. Your best bet would be to see an independent financial advisor but not one who charges lb1000.00 to set up the mortgage for you. Go to an estate agents who also give mortgage counsel, I'm sure you could find a lender who could arrange a mortgage for you. Good luck!!
