How much will my lb51,000 mortgage be surrounded by 5 years time?
I am a first time buyer buying a flat at lb67,500, borrowing lb51,000 with a 5 year fixed rate deal at 4.89% over 30 years near daily interest. The mortgage payment is lb280 a month. Assume I don't variety any overpayments as these will be limited anyway. Please can you explain how it's calculated or direct me to a website with an online calculator for this. Thanks.

ok here is the breakdown of your loan. if you notice the first few years there really isn't much mortal paid toward the principal it is mostly going toward interest. So if you can over pay within the beggining of you loan it will help you out and save you more money than if you over rate at the end of the 30 year term.
