Depends on when your ruin was discharged, I believe for FHA it has to be discharged 2 years and near conventional 3 years. I would go to a local lender, banks are upright, but so are local brokerage firms. Call a friend or a Realtor that can recommend one for you. If you are trying for the $8,000 tax credit do it soon. Those who think they will in actuality close on the 30th of November may be disappointed.
