How do I incorporate my husband to the mortgage?

I was married when the house was purchased but my husband isn't on any of the paperwork. It's my good judgment that he has to qualify to be added by refinancing are there any other alternatives?
Answers:
1. contact your mortgage company and see what your options are. the answer to this can ebb and flow company to company.

2. typically, you would need to refinance in proclaim to do this. and by typically, i mean 95 percent of the time.
You need to contact your Mortgage Company, title company or attorney. Whoever completed your title for your property. You should have paperwork on your mortgage (probably fundamental the bottom.) Call the company and they should be able to update your Mortgage or lead you contained by the right direction.

No option, you cannot call the lender and just make the addition of someone to the mortgage. To either add someone or clutch someone off requires a refinance. Each refinance will cost you thousands of dollars. Unless you have a strong motivating factor to put in him, don't.

You shouldn't put him on your mortgage. If you guys ever get "strong up" for cash and can't pay it and you hold to file for bankruptcy, atleast you can spill out back on his credit for a little stability.
