Active Duty Military, wanting to lower mortgage payments?

My wife and I own a home back in the states. We purchased the home formerly coming overseas. We have been stationed within Italy now for the past year, and are have trouble to rent or sell our home. We didn't own the home prior to me enlisting within the Navy. Is there any program you may no of to lower monthly mortgage payments, or anythig that would help avoid foreclosure. However, we are current on our monthly payments.
Answers:
Google...SCRA...Service Member Civil Relief Act. There are also other links from here.

Hope that helps. This brought down our interest rate which in turn brought down out fee. This also applies to ANY loans you have. It will lower them all to 6% and stern date them to the date you became active duty.
Not that I'm aware of but there is a program in place right presently (an expansion of the BRAC policy) so that if you have to sell your house due to PCS instructions and take a loss you can possibly recoup SOME of your loss. Source(s): http://www.military.com/news/article/pcs…
sorry dude ... go through this myself once. there is nothing out within like that for service members, zilch i found and Lord knows i looked. i would reccomend you sell it and try to break even on it.
