Who is responsible for a mortgage memo when the holder dies?
A month ago my father passed away. 4 years ago he bought me a house in FL. He was the single note signer, and the only one on the mortgage.
Under FL canon my mother is on the deed, but not the mortgage or promissary note. He did not own a will that was signed. (he had a will but didn't obtain to sign it in time, his death be to sudden)
