Is near a expeditious & confident mortgage loan?
Hi. I want to buy a small vacation home in Puerto Rico. PR is a commonwealth of the US, so I beleive matching rules apply. The house is really cheap (60k) & I need to get a mortgage loan for it. Is at hand any type of mortgage that I can get that will not make me enjoy inspections & will be quick? The seller have potential cash buyers & he agreed to not sell it to anyone else but singular if I can get the loan done quickly. Please relieve!!
Also I am open to long term personal loans. But it would own to be atleast 72 months & w/ a smaller APR. I owned my home in Philadelphia for 4 yrs so I believe I do not have much equity. & also can I get hold of the loan here in Philadelphia? What are my options. I will choose the best answer. Thank you.
Answers:
1. Do NOT buy any home that has not been inspected.
2. With the existing estate market the way it is very soon, I highly doubt that there are that abundant serious buyers.
3. Since you have little equity in your own home, IMO it is unlikely that you will know how to get a bank loan.
4. 60K is not cheap for a house surrounded by PR. Prices there are not comparable to the USA since it is practically a third-world country.
5. Just looking at what you have said contained by your question, IMO you should not be considering this purchase. It is financially unsafe.
Now I'm not sure about lending law in PR since they vary by state and realm, but you are able to buy properties with a mortgage lacking inspections, usually it's not a good idea though. The lender will however require an appraisal. Also, it may be more difficult to buy a mobile home, I know at most minuscule on the mainland it is far more difficult than to buy mobile or manufactured because of certain risk factors. The loan itself shouldn't pocket that long depending on PR's requirements, it should be able to be done within 2-3 weeks across the world if it's rushed. Source(s): mortgage broker
Puerto Rico have many inexpensive beautiful homes. You can try refinance.com. You most feasible would have to pay for a material estate agent in Puerto Rico to assess the home that you plan to purchase; most all mortgage companies require this. You can hold a family member to check out the house also, my sister contained by law bought a house viewing it on-line and before the closing she go to PR and did the walk through and the house was excellent condition.
