Do mortgage loan originator want a license within Florida?
Or do only mortgage brokers need a license?

I am a Mortgagae Loan officer here surrounded by upstate NY and I do not have a license. I work for a bank and am not a broker. I can also lend contained by Fl. and several other states. I think it all depends on your employer.

If you work for a lender or correspondent lender you do not want a license. If you work for a mortgage broker you do.
