I am waiting for my mortgage company well fargo to finish my loan mod.I have a company call home mod.?
solution. They want me to give them 2900 and they will get my loan mod. through my guard. Why would my company say no to me but yes to them. Are they all surrounded by this together letting this company make money off of me and granting them the loan mod. This company said they can close within 2 to 4 weeks and i been wating 2 months.Has anyone gotten one from wells fargo.They maintain telling me they dont no how long it will be. I cant really get any solid answers from them.

steven is correct, loan mod companies promising they will obtain it done in 2 to 4 weeks are a scam. this is a new scam immediately, you will have much better luck doing this yourself. You need to bring a note pad and start contacting well fargo on this loan mod. Document all of your conversations in detail this includes name of the reps. I would ask to talk to a supervisor when you call and ask what your status is. This initial telephone will not be your last, the folks that are successful at getting mods are calling at least every week.

Even if they WERE lawful, which NONE of them are, the MOST they could do is what you have ALREADY DONE. When was teh closing time YOU contacted Wells Fargo. If it was more than a week ago, your file is LOST within a pile, where it will STAY until you harass someone into finding it.
