Mortgage loan officer experience?
I know re-fi's are the hot item now and the overall market is still somewhat depressed, but I'm interested within mortgages as a career path. I enjoy over 5 years sales experience in a ring up center environment and I've always exceeded my quotas. I have nothing real estate experience, however.
I see ads online roughly speaking hiring loan officers all the time, but they adjectives ask for "experience in the mortgage industry". How does one get their foot contained by the door at a decent, reputable broker? I am open to taking courses online and getting certified. I enjoy a high aptitude for test taking anyway. I'd help yourself to a job making $25,000 a year if I knew it be going to get me further in the industry.
So how does one obtain in? Is it who you know? What contacts you have or what? I am a sturdy worker, an aggressive salesman and I possess a commitment to excellence. I just want to get notice like I did at my current company. I have accolade in sales, purely not in the mortgage loan officer business. Can somebody point me in the right direction? Thank you!

Hi,
Companies advertisement that you read are worded for the best and most qualified type of person. This is the ideal character they hope to attract. Rarely do they expect to be innudated with applicants who have adjectives the attributes that were indicated in the hoarding. Quite often the person beside all those attributes will be looking elsewhere anyway - and the companies know this.
So, why not just apply for a position anyway? Express yourself as you own done here. You may be pleasantly surprised.
You have indicated that you have tons of the characteristics that are sought by potential employers. Good Luck! Source(s): http://www.lulu.com/content/447344
