Want to draw from approved for a mortgage but the loan officer is aphorism I don't enjoy adequate credit history?
I have 2 credit cards that i have be making payments on since i got them on time but the problem is near both closed now, but iam still making payments, so the loan officer is saying that i stipulation three open lines of credit to get approved. He suggested on crack up another credit card and transfering my balances on that one so i can use my credit history. Ive applied at 2 different banks but be denied a credit card, should i pay one of the credit cards off completely and afterwards apply for one? Will it help me if i do that or should i just construct the monthly payments... PLZ HELP trying to be a first time homeowner!
to build your credit maintain at tiniest 3 active cards with some sensitive of movement monthly. your balance should be no more that 38% of the full amount they will lend you so that your scores will progress up substantially every time they report.
Sorry you just don't have the credit to buy a home and in attendance is nothing you can do for a short term fix.
Why do you hold two credit cards that are closed and you are still making payments. I am assuming you missed a bunch of payments and were cut off because it is not usual for a credit card to be closed when there is still an outstanding balance.
If you've be denied credit cards then your credit is not very honourable at all- think about it, if you can't bring back a small line of credit for a card, why would any bank approve you for a huge purchase approaching a home?
Also, even if you could get your credit score up purely enough to get a home, you will still own a bad interest rate. A smart thing for you to do would be to expand your credit (within your means) and try again to buy a home within two years when your score is better. This will save you a TON of money contained by the long run on interest payments alone!
You should rent for the next two years and try to put any extra money away to save for a downpayment. With a colossal downpayment and better credit you will qualify for a better home at a better rate. Good luck!

The two cards you have be paying on time should have provided you next to a credit score. If that middle credit score is 620 or above it should be quite easy for you to get a mortgage through USDA. You simply want to find a loan person that is acquainted with USDA in your nouns. It will not matter that you only own those two closed accounts. This program is 102% financing with no mortgage insurance if you and the property are eligible. Source(s): 30 years in TRUE estate & lending
well of course you want to remuneration them off but you need a relatively extensive credit history. you don't want to catch stuck with ridiculous interest. and don't buy anything you can't afford.
forget about getting the mortgage for now. focus on building your credit history and keeping an eye out for your credit win. it's best to have no loans when applying for a mortgage.
