Would anyone know if it's possible to be on a mortgage when you never go to the sandbank, or have a credit check?

I know I am on the deed. My boyfriend bought this place 4yrs ago and he has in a minute left. He has lately walked away and I am in moderately a financial mess. He will not answer phone calls from me or any relatives. He did send me a epistle 3mos ago, from a lawyer, saying that I am on the mortgage. I purely don't see how this is possible. I don't even know where he pays the mortgage as the 1st bank sold it. I desperately obligation help! I cannot afford to live here and the place is a dump. I have be accepted at elderly housing but can't move in because they deem I have an asset. They want a market analysis, which I cannot afford. I am getting nowhere hasty as I can't provide the name of the bank, or description #. My application is going to expire shortly and I have no place to go. Any relief would be very much appreciated. Thank you
To be on a mortgage, you must have signed the mortgage documents, and your signature would hold been witnessed and/or notarized.

Get an attorney -- pronto! Sign a Quit Claim Deed to the ex-bf, or sue him for half the significance of the property and give him a Quit Claim Deed in exchange. Your atty can push for you as to the best way to go on this.

You MUST attain an attorney or you are in very costly trouble here! You should own gone to an attorney as soon as the bf moved out and left you this financial swamp.
If you are on the deed, next you DO have an asset. As for the mortgage, unless you signed something you aren't legally responsible for it. If it's on your credit report, sounds close to something was forged, and you need to contact the mortgage holder now.

You could contact that lawyer that you got the message from a few months ago, and ask what that was all around. Would have been a moral idea to do that right away!

Good luck.
"> you cant be on a mortgage if you didnt sign for it, and most lenders require a credit check. Easiest way to find out is to check your own credit. If the mortgage is one nearby it will tell you who its through and how much is owed. Then you can contact them to dispute it.
It is possible to be on the deed but not on the Loan. Check your credit report, If you show a loan on in attendance, then you can contact the lender to advise them. They should know how to move the account to their Fraud department for investigation. However, my only give somebody the third degree is did you ever give your boyfriend power of attorney over your business matters. If so, it is possible that they be able to put you on the loan, as this will in essence allow them to kind transactions on your behalf. The only problem is that if such property goes into foreclosure, it will not concern if you are on the deed or not, the sale will still take place as the lender will be the lien holder on the property.
