Refused a mortgage because of credit gain? ?

I have just applied for my first mortgage next to Nationwide and was rejected?? It was for a 56% mortgage, as have a big lumpsum to put down. I am 23 and have worked at the same place for 4 years, not get much credit history. I have one credit card which is always rewarded (I only took this out last year to remodel my score) I did have a catalogue wheb I be 18 and missed a few payments but this was settled years ago. What can I do to get a mortgage?? I am really stuck, any aid would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

I don’t have the answer to adjectives of your questions. However, there are some things that you CAN do to repair your credit. In reality, sometimes you can indeed get negative items removed; depending on the situation. This might be a well-mannered place to start.

I recommend trying the free course at http://www.redfoxcredit.com/repair.php They provide a lot of great information for improving your credit chalk up, and it worked well for me.

You were most probably refused because of the credit crunch at the moment because culture are generally scared of lend any money at the moment and also Nationwide are VERY picky on who they lend their money out to.

Try another place, or better still, get an Independent Adviser, who are free of charge, and ask them for the best deals around.

Good luck and hang on to on going, you will find someone out there.
on the app. check the box that says you are an african american,,, it will move about right through with no problems.
