On my credit report, a mortgage company shows up, I never took out a loan, how do I clear this?
I believe I am a victim of identity theft, I be trying to sign up on Charles Schwab for an account and it indicated that there be some mortgage company listed through my credit report. I have never took out a loan or any huge sum of money. How do I clear this? Who do I contact? How do I remove this company off my credit line? I don't even hold any credit cards and I am only 18. I am scared to demise right now about my identity. Please assistance?
