Could i report a mortgage broker who took power of me because I have appropriate credit?

A broker i refinanced with and knew my credit history, approached me on investing surrounded by homes in Florida. I would be the silent partner and he would be the one who deals near anything that had to do with the homes. Make the long story short, 2 homes be closed on, 1 tenant sent him the rent directly,the other walked out because the "broker took his money, and kept asking for more" , he never paid the mortgages near it and it is now month 6 with no payments on both homes. They are within the process of foreclosure. Do i have any leg to stand on by reporting his scam as a white collar crime to the FBI? I was the solely signer on the homes.

If you can prove this...I don't think there is any doubt he could , at a minimum lose his brokers license. But it doesn't nouns like you had a contract within place so he may not have "technically" broke any laws.

Sure you can report him. Start with local cops, the board of realtors, the state mortgage board. Report yourself for unbelievable naivete. I'm betting you didn't even hold an attorney to handle these transactions for you!
