Late mortgage allowance effect on credit?

If I am 30 or 60 days late on my mortgage, does it hurt my credit rating for very long?
"> It depends. If its a once stale no not really. If it is a regular occurrence the financial institution that you have the loan through will probably be unbelieving to lend you more funds. If you go to another institution it will depend on your other credit history as to whether they ring yours with the loan to find out your transfer of funds history. So it can but it may not at the same time :)
