Can a concrete estate agency emergency credit & personal info from you if you're already be approved for a mortgage?

I'm buying through one real estate agency, but the agency selling the house is demanding my credit scores, rate stubs, letters from my employer, etc. before they'll flog me a house. However my mortgage company has already approved me for the loan! Can they legally do this?
Sometimes they can request that you are pre approved through their lender before shopping and making offers near you. Some of my clients have had to be pre approved through tons different lenders while making offers on bank owned properties. Every TRUE estate company is different. If you are not comfortable doing this then it may be best to check with a different tangible estate company.
sure they can ask for that.

You only have to agree if you want to purchase this home. Otherwise find another home whereby book agency is not so burdensome.
"> If you are pre-qualified through a mortgage company after the mortgage company should have given you a letter detailing the amount they are giving. The communication should be all that you need to distribute the seller. Get your mortgage company to call them.

Being "approved" and "pre-qualified are terrifically different. Approve just means that a broad spectacle of your finance and credit has be looked at. Pre-qualified means they have reviewed everything and given you a notification stating exactly what you are qualified for.
Perhaps they can. If the house in question is a foreclosure, some lenders insist on have such information before they will even look at any offer provided to them. Of course, it is your preference to refuse to provide what is requested, but at the risk of having your set aside completely ignored. Have your agent find out WHY this information is being requested. You may discover a valid basis.
