How can i catch a mortgage to buid my first home?
I've been preaproved for 300,000 to purchase a house, but i really want to build my own. I know that i can do it for less than that! The problem is that lenders don't usually aprove constraction loans for first time homes. Any planning?

This is possible. What state do you live in? I work for a mortgage company in Michigan and we work next to about 13 other states.
