Could be a scam ,consult the police for advise,do not send your info to them.
Everyone is asked the question that asks you to select a mortgage, whether or not anyone has ever have a mortgage under that person's social security number. It does not not connote that anyone ever had a mortgage under your social wellbeing number.

If you have never had a mortgage, consequently the correct answer to the question is "none of these".

If you select that answer, then you can secure a copy of your credit report without mailing or faxing any information.
Mark above may have a right point, if your 'mortgage' was listed as one of the question they ask to verify identity, it may no even exist. The systems do ask for non existent account information sometimes, just to check if it's you.

Obviously, any mortgage taken out when you be 12 is not valid. I have NO idea what Mark is referring to by stating is is not a necessity, that's meaningless. But you cannot be held to such an evidently fraudulent mortgage.

Mail your information so you can get a proper copy of your Equifax report. Also contact Transunion and Experian. You're entitled to a free report each year from respectively of them. If you find any of them DO list this mortgage, they will provide information on how you can dispute it. If the account exists, you should also transport them a letter asking for a watch to be put on your information, a notification so that any company checking your account will be told there have been fraud, and to contact you directly before granting any credit.

It might hold a while, but it will get straightened out
Those questions are part of a screening process to prevent authorized access. Have you in reality seen your credit reports and ascertained that a mortgage loan is on there? Go to http://www.annualcreditreport.com to request your free annual disclosures. If you can't access them on queue, use the telephone touch-tone option or mail-in form to request mail copies.

If there DOES turn out to be a mortgage loan showing on your records, it could be fraud (as you assume) or it could be a mistake. You won't know until you go and get your reports.
It sometimes asks question that would have an answer of "none of the above." This doesn't mean near really was a loan taken out.
(But in the baggage that it actually happened xD, you wouldn't be liable as a home is not a necessity to you, they can't hold you to that contract. (you're parent's home is a necessity though, or at lowest possible was)
Try getting your credit report again. The system recurrently asks questions in a suggestive process that would get someone else to just guess, when the authentic answer is "none."

Make sure you are getting the report from:
www.annualcreditreport.com
This site is run by the FTC for you. There are no strings attached.

Don't use www.freecreditreport.com. This site has strings attached and even though the initial report is free, you end up signing up for a credit monitoring service and you'll be charged latter if you don't cancel during the trial period.

If, nearby really was a mortgage taken out in your signature, you need to file a police report. Identity raid is a crime, and like all crimes, you should report it. Then, your police report will serve as a tool. Contact the mortgage company, explain the situation, fax or communication a copy of the police report and demand they remove it from your credit reports and that they never attempt to collect the money from you.
You have need of to talk to a lawyer in a minute.
I just turned 15 but i don't hold problems like this what i would do though is ring their phone number and tell them what have happened and see if they can do anything about it.
That be a security question that the correct answer to is "None of the above" this is why you be not allowed to pull your report.

Try again and if your asked matching question be sure and give the correct answer.

If here really is a mortgage you need to file a police report A.S.A.P. and manufacture sure all 3 credit report bureaus get a certified copy. But don't verbs since you were a minor there is no path you can be held responsible for the loan. Source(s): Finance Manager for over 9-years.

If you hold 20% equity contained by your home can mortgage lenders preserve PMI insurance on loans because of belated payments?
Most contracts have it set that if you are trying to terminate the PMI payments early that you must have a history of well-mannered payments. What I mean by "ending PMI early"...
