Does Mostly Everyone Have A Mortgage On Their Home?

Answers:
Yes.
I think most folks have a mortgage on their home when they first buy it, but people that own lived in their homes for awhile may have remunerated their entire mortgage off and own their home outright.
About 1/3rd of homeowners have no mortgage and own their homes outright (just another odd reality that I heard somewhere and can't remember where). This fact may be a few years ripened, but it was accurate as of a few years ago.
Not me... I compensated it off a couple years ago, and am very glad I did...
I don't and I'm gonna be building my dream home soon and I'm 55yo. Worked hard though.
No alot of citizens own their homes outright
