Question:1)right now i have a ranchu/lionhead tank and a ryukin tank both 45 gals and now that im moving i dont think i might have space for two tanks is it even possible to combine theses two kinds of fish in a 90or 125 gal tank or am i going to have to use a divider if i want them in the same tank together and do they make dividers for 90 or 125 gal tanks?
2)is there any other way to measure future growth of goldfish besides the one inch per gal thing

would the fish nesscarily grow ten inches cause it has ten gallons or is it matter if the tank is 10 inches long that it might grow ten inches?

The "rule" "one inch of fish per gallon of water" is total crap. It doesn't work at all for that exact reason. A 10 inch fish in a 10 gallon tank wouldn't even be able to turn around. Yes, those two fish would be fine together. They are both fancy Goldfish so they swim about the same speed. That prevents bullying and one from eating all the food. Good luck! For that matter, you could keep 2 fancy Goldfish in a 45 gallon if you were really cramped for space. They will much prefer the 90 though. The average fancy Goldfish grows about 10 inches. And the dorsal fin has no affect on propulsion, it is just for steering.

From what i know you can keep them together in a big tank, the thing is just because it has 10 gallons it wont grow 10", these are pond fish and need lots of water space and you dont see them in ponds all huge.
you could. As long as you make sure the ranchu/lionheads are getting enough food, thats the only problem. Since Ranchus/lionheads have no dorsol fin they can't swim as easily or as fast as the ryukins. So you may want a divider to be specially made so the ryukins aren't stealing all the food. Also, there's no way to measure exactly how big an idividual goldfish will grow or how long it will take, sorry. :( But average goldfish grow to be about 6-7 inches in legnth.

as long as the fish are close to each other in size they should be fine. Ranchu/lionhead are egg bodied goldfish not pond fish per say. in fact none of the fish you have listed would do all that well in a pond. those that do well in a pond are shubunkins, comets, and koi to name a few. all of which have a more linear body shape. as the person above states when it come s to mixing goldfish you just need to watch during feeding as lion heads are some of the worst swimmers and could be starved out (celestial eyes are even worse than lion heads).Bard books does a book on goldfish that is short sweet and to the point on raising and keeping goldfish and most pet stores carry it. It helped me when I first started out doing fish at the store. just keep in mind the golden rule with fish 1 inches of fish per 2 gallons of water for goldfish and 1 inch of fish per gallon of water for tropical fish. and yes they do make dividers for tanks but for larger tanks you may have to have the local store special order one because the larger ones are not big sellers. by the way egg-body shaped goldfish don't do well in a pond.
