How can i easily breed mollies and guppies?

Question:

Answers:
If your water conditions are not right, most fish will not breed. This includes livebearers.

Ensure that the water temp is between 75-80 degrees F. Provide plenty of foliage.

A good rule of thumb is 1 male to 3 females. Female livebearers can store eggs and sperm inside of her body for up to 3 months. she can choose when to fertilize them.

If you do get fry, make sure you have some java moss or other places for them to hide. After about 1 week the adults usually leave them alone.

I would buy a testing kit and check your water. Odds are if they are breeding, something is not right with it.

They are very easy to breed. If you have male and female guppies in your tank then you can't stop them breeding. one Mature female can breed 20-100 fry at once.
Put each breeding pair into it's own plastic storage box, with a filter, plastic grass floating on top..and a lot of hiding places. Remove the babies..right after birth..to their own plastic box.

Feed Brine shrimp..several times a day.

As babies are old enough to eat little bites of flakes, move them into your grow-out aquarium..with fish close to the same size.
livebearers need lots of plants and other hiding places!
it will serve well when they mate and deliver.

in the tank, you need to have more females than males, usually 1 male can have 2 females or more...
its easy to sex them, males' anal fin are pointy called gonopodium, to transfer sperm. while the females' still triangular.

keep the tank healthy and the tmperature fresh. although these are hardy fish, its best to mate them at somewhere around 16 - 27 c.

you can also help by giving them nutritious food, and keep less disturbance so that they have less stress.

good luck breeding them! ^^
To breed them together; very difficult. In general they will breed with the same species easily. The majority of the females I have gotten were already prego and within 30 days many babies. Just put them together you will have fry before you know it. The fry are goos hiders and you may have some and not know it. Next time you clean the tank rustle the plants and lift up any decorations; you will probably find some.
Those are 2 of the easiest fish to breed. Put 1m/2-3f in and let them go. Keep testing your water and you should be good.
Just put a male & female in the same tank.
