Acropora plugs?

Question:I have a piece of aquacultured acropora coral that was being nipped at by my algae blennia and was pulled off the plug. Does it need to be glued into the plug to grow and thrive or will it be ok just resting in it?

Answers:
is glue it unless you can rest it in a spot where it wont be resitng on anything but its base, but its not necessary to glue it back,

It will be ok just resting on it as long as it is immobilzed and doesn't take too many spills.
