All my fish have either died or seem to be dying...?

Question:PLEASE HELP! I have a 10 gallon tank which i just changed the water out of. I used tap water, but I also added a water conditioner. it says to add 3 drops per 2 gallons so I added about 15 drops. I had 5 neon tetras, 3 cory cats, and 1 betta. Now I don't have any neons left, and only 2 cory cats and 1 beta alive... They don't seem to be doing well. WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO DO?

Answers:
your water conditioner is 2 drops per gallon so using 15 drops i'm assuming you changed about 7 gallons or roughly 3 quarters of your water. if your ph wasn't 7.6 to begin with the shock of changing to that level may be part of the cause.
such a large water change could of affected the bacteria levels (ie killed off the good bacteria) leaving the tank to produce toxic levels making the fish suseptible to disease.
if you don't have test kits take a water sample into a pet shop and get them to show you how the kits work and begin with some 10-20 percent water changes to reduce the toxin levels (daily for 3-4 days) then retest to see your progress.

The only thing you can do right now is to wait it out. I know it is hard to do, but if your fish aren't showing any other signs of illness you really can't treat them properly. You can also add aquarium salt to the tank. 1tsp per 5 gallons. I am so sorry for your loss.

Edit* The PH level isn't that high. Most fish can handle higher PH levels.
the neon don't get any more its about 90% cChance they will get neon disease and die and about the Cory cat get a water sampler kit and test for ammonia and nitrate levels
change the water again and this time try not to put the whole conditioner thing in the water.
Sometimes you can clean the fishtank a little too much. They do need a little bacteria in there after you clean it. Just don't do it so often and leave a little cloudy water in there, it'll settle after a couple hours.
get a test kit for ammonia and other chemicals, do a water change of about 3 gallons and make sure the temp and ph are consistent with that of the tank. Monitor your levels and if symptoms don't get better, do another water change in 2 days. Also you can take a sample of water to your pet store and they can test your water for you for free.
