Is it OK to cry when a fish dies?

Question:My fish just died... :( he was a puffer fish & I just got him a few days ago...his name was spike.

Answers:
Of course it is ok to cry!

Once you are done mourning though you may want to start thinking about why your puffer died and do some research about the needs of your species before you think about getting another so that it doesn't happen again.

Cry when it's fine with you.
I haven't heard of a law against crying when a pet dies, most pets are part of the family.
aww its always to cry. if it gave you love then its ok to cry for the lost of him.im sorry for your loss.
I'm so sorry about your fish's death! It's OK to cry because the little fellow was a part of your family!
Of course it is. We get attached to ALL of our pets and it does NOT matter what type of pet dies, it is still OUR pet and we get attached to them very quickly.
Your tears demonstrate that you are a caring person that has a heart of living things.
Have a good cry and you will feel better. Sorry about Spike.
hell yes it is okay. i'm sorry for your loss. we had a goldfish for 4 1/2 years and he just died, and i buried him in the backyard.
Sorry to hear spike died, do you have a return policy. it may have been sick and you may be able to take him back and exchange it. Also take a sample of your water they may be able to test it to see if it needs anything.
it can be a sad moment!!
cry iff you want!!
but..
try not to over do it lol...
Of course it's okay!
People can easily get 'close' to anything; dog, fish, or even blanket (don't ask!), I even cried when my child-hood stuffed dog fell apart. I have been on a news show about getting accustom to things, and not seeing that fish when you walk in reminds you of him.
Don't worry, you'll get over him. When my pets die, I usually write poems or stories about them. They are never good, but it makes me feel happy to get my feelings on paper.
I also like seeing...parts of them. My dog, whom I had for twelve years, died a year or so ago, and I found her hair in our backyard, in a bucket a few months ago. It just breaks my heart.
I also found a drawing I drew of her when she was about ten...I put it on my wall, not because I drew it, but because it made me think of her.
Yeah, of course it is. My black bubble eyed look'n goldfish was a great fish and my entire family LOVED it. My family and I cried for years about it. She lived longer than all the fish I have ever had, but it's saddest if they only live for a few days. You barley got to know the little Puffer. I hope you get another fish and lives longer.
Of course it is fine to cry!!!
A pet is a part of the family... when it dies of course is okayy!!
If the fish meant that much to you then it is absolutely OK to cry. There is no rule that says you can't express emotions. So let your emotions out.
Absolutely. Just like when you lose any pet. You get attached to them and they become your friends. Shed a few tears and then find a new fish.
Of course.
Just because it's a fish doesn't mean you can't cry over it.
People think fish are unimportant, its silly.
yeah it is I did,

sorry.
You are crying because you didn't take care of your fish and now its dead. I'm sorry for you
It's ok. we get attached to them.
I had my fish for over a year and when my boyfriend went to feed him he said ahh Liebe (it means love) is and I cried before he even said dead.
well it depends on how you feel.

once when i was young my first fish died, and i cried 'cause i was so in love with it...
but when i see that my new fish who hasn't been with me for a long time died, i didn't cry - i guess i must bond with the fish so that i cry...

as for now, when my beloved fish died, i don't cry, but was very depressed and very sad...
weather your crying about the fish dieing or the 50 bucks you paid for it go right ahead i persionally was pissed when my tang died 2 tays after i bought it and it had no warentee
aww... its always ok to cry. just let it all go.
