Question:Question about guppies?, So i was wondering if i take a female guppie (who is 2-3 weeks prego) and put her with a new male(Gerry) i have and he inserts his gonopodium into her, When the fry are born... will gerrys sperm be used for the next batch of fry, So they will be simular to him, the colours anyway,
P.s i dont name my guppies i just callled it gerry to explain it better, Thanks..

It's really impossible to say for certain. The best thing to do will be to leave the female by herself or only with other females until she has gone at least 6 weeks without being pregnant or even looking pregnant. Once that has happened you will know she is out of stored sperm and you can mate her to "gerry".

wow.i think u answered ur own question.
Usually female guppies had more than one guys, so it really hard to determined the color of the fries, but if you want the fries to be similar to him buy a new female that never had babies before that might help.
i have guppy.possibly this time and the next it happened to me hundreds of times.
