of course in pet shops.. ~.^
PETSMART!!
pet store
it depends where you are, but I would recommend looking for a good aquatic specialist near you.
whatever you do don't get a fish bowl!
your local petstore
PetSmart. They care about Freshwater fish, not saltwater. Don't go to: Wal*Mart, PetCo, or order online.
i wouldnt buy one.. i think its cruel...
but you could catch one at the river or seaside and take it home.
suggest having a nice BBQ
Local small pet shops, Not chain stores, Local pet shops will most likeley be disease free, Unlike chain stores,
Well, that really depend on you, what kind of fish do you want. Some pet stores have different kind of high quality fish and low quality fish so jugde yourself, if you wrong try again.
Don't know about you but around here we have pet shops a nd garden centres all with aquatic sections. Several to choose from.
well, If you live near st. Louis DON'T go to petco r petsmart! they take no care in there fish! if you don't live near st,Louis still don't got to them. Got to petland!they have THE best stores! they have real fish tanks, not just blue boxes with tons of fish in them!
Definatly the fishmongers
How about a nice pet mullet?
or maybe a brown trout?
a pet store...obiously!
mabe pets at home they have lots of animals and most are very healthy
i wouldnt realy call a fish a pet not much interaction but just look at and feed.but you can get them at some garden centers or a pet shop.
a pet store like pet co or something...I bought a fish there and it lived for 4 years!
I certainly would NO WAY get them from Walmart, or BigK. When we had them, we got everything from a couple that were in the business. They have since retired. They were excellent! If I were to have fish again, I would look around for people that are solely in that business.
A PET Shop
Never a pet shop, because the fish they stock is
usually sent from abroad and are usually not
of good stock, being caught in rivers and oceans of
there source.
Best go to a local breeder or a fancy fish auction, these
places sell fish that are home bred and are of good stock.
Also look in magazines that specialise in pet fish.
WALMART i got 3 or 4 fish at walmart months ago gold fish and beta fish and they are still alive. i have gotten fish at numerous pet stores down through north carolina up to P.A and they have all died within the week. tragic i know ='[. WALMART IS GOOD but be sure you get a fish that is active in the agarium and bright in color compared to the other fish of his kind
I know I may sound like an idiot but try finding a breeder, they take good care of their fish, and don't let them inbreed, over breed, or get sick. If not, go to a local pet store, and if not (Getting tired of saying "if not" XD) go to a Petsmart but don't buy guppies from them they're most likely pregnate, and soon you'll have 150 new fish good luck!
I would try your local petstore.
I don't recommend Walmart or Petsmart.
I recently bought 4 fish from Petsmart. Within 3 days, one died. They have a 14 day return policy, I took the dead fish back to Petsmart, they replaced the fish, 2 days after getting that one, it was dead.
I recently bought 2 fish in pets at home one died after 3 weeks i replaced it and that died within a week so i for one will not be buying at pets at home again, and the tank its the right size and the water is fine.
Shake a paw. That is where i got all of my african chiklets
A good pet store were you can see the fish are healthy and feeding before you buy. And talk to the store staff about the type of fish your interested in if their evasive when you ask questions go somewhere else.
the BEST place to buy fish is from a local breeder you will need to put a bit of effert in for this i.e looking in local classified ads ect , if there are no breeders in your area then please use a local aquatic specialist ,certanly not a big chain store
