Tyra,

Are your guppy's Only having females? Of does it just seem that way? There are always experiments to test this and then another that contradicts that experiment. Bottom line is that except for random happenings, there will always be 2-4 times more females than males. This is the natural ratio in the wild and needed for survival of the species. The other thing that happens is that the females grow larger faster so that the males are still likely to be eaten by other fish at a later date if you don't have them separated. Also, they don't show male characteristics for several weeks to a couple of months but you probably already know that one.

im not sure if any thing will affect the gender but i also seem to get a lot of females and only a few males. just try to keep the tank to the recomended temp and quality and you should get a better mix hopefully.

good luck.
