Can denison barb aka roseline shark live in water that has PH of 6.5?

Question:I was thinking of getting a couple, but they are kind of expensive, so I wanted to make sure they can live in that type of water condition.

Answers:
I have never kept this fish, but several online sources as well as two books I have recommend a pH of about 6.5 - 7.5 so it appears they will do well in your water. Here's one profile I found on them:
