Starting over?

Question:ok all my fish died im stariting over so how many times shoul di rinse the tank out i alreday did it twice

Answers:
try washing out the gravel with cold water to remove waste, and then go over the gravel with hot/warm water twice.

Allow it to sit out dry for a day and then u can get it going again.

hey
I have 6 fish and it depence on the tank you have,
if you have a fish tank that is very big with a bubbler, then you dont have to rince it out alot about 1-2-3 times a month it depence on how dirty it it.

If it is small and it is with or with-out a bubbler you should wash it out about 5 times or more a month..no less it depence on how dirty it is too.

take my advice i have been through a lot of fish... have fun with then!

Fresh water tank should be fine.

I don't know about salt water. There are some fish that ruin the tank itself, but, again, I have no idea.
Make sure when you rinse your tank out, you only use warm water. If you use any disinfectants or soap, it can kill your fish no matter how hard you rinse it off. Make sure you have enough room for all of your fish. If your fish remain small even at their adult size, you can use the "1 gallon per inch of fish" rule. Notice I said if your fish "remain" small at their adult size. You wouldn't want to put a fish that grows to 10 inches in a 10 gallon tank. I would also recommend a filter for your tank and do 25% weekly water changes and then a gravel vacuum at the end of every month. Your tank will be running well if you do this.
