What do to with...?

Question:I want to know what to do with your guppies when ur guppies keep having fry after fry and you get wayy too many in one tank...what do you do with them?? Can u sell them or what? I was just curious cuz I have 14 as of now and thats a lil much and more on the way..what do I do??

Answers:
your local fish store may take some, they usually like males tho, some pay cash, others store credit.

You can always get another tank, and maybe separate the males from females so this stops happening.

Or buy a big fish and let them snack

You have 3 choices.
You get another tank for the fry
You get a net and scoop em out and put them on an ice pack
You get a barb/cichlid or something with a mouth large enough to eat them.

offer on freecycle.org in your area people would love the sharing
Offering them on your local Free cycle is an excellent idea..but if you don't want them to be "feeder fish" for other fish or turtles, you will need to specify that.
You can call pet shops and ask if they want them. Or ask if some friends want them. Get another tank, or get a fish or frog that will eat the fry.

My brother has a frog and a turtle in their own tanks, but when the population of one of his tropical tanks starts getting too high, he "opens a buffet" and puts the frog and/or turtle in the tank for a bit.
i would not keep any female guppys i would just keep males cause males are much prettyer and it stops you from keep getting fry. i had the same prop when i had my last tank it 2003
